My Favorite Bald Girl Products

October 10, 2025

I thought I’d take some time to share some of my favorite things that I’ve used as a bald girl! From headscarves to skincare, these are the things that I’ve found to be so helpful for my confidence and self-care.

  1. Scarves – starting off with one of my favorite things to talk about. I’ve gotten scarves from a variety of places including thrift stores and vintage shops, but I’ve found two online shops recently that I’ve really been enjoying.
    • Baldtourage – Baldtourage was created by a fellow Alopecian and drops scarf collections throughout the year. I bought one of their scarves this summer and really loved the lightweight fabric used and the adorable patterns! Check out their site and sign up for emails to get notified about the next drop!
    • The Scarf Bar – This Etsy shop has been one of my favorites for a few years now. They sell high quality scarves in a variety of colors. I love the abundance of options and the scarves are SO comfortable!
  2. Head Care – As a baldie who has to shave my head, taking care of my scalp has been and increasingly more important step to my self-care routine.
    • Baldare Scalp Care – Baldare is an incredible brand that focuses on products for bald women. I’ve specifically used their S.O.S Scalp Serum before, which was amazing for preventing irritation after shaving. I’m also really interested in trying out their head masks!
    • Tree Hut Body Scubs – I’ve recently realized how important exfoliation is for head care, especially when you shave your head regularly. There are so many great exfoliators out there, but I have found that Tree Hut is easily accessible and has some really great products. I really enjoy all the different scents that they have!
  3. Shaving – Not all baldies have to shave their heads, but I have a patchy kind of alopecia, so I typically have to shave my head about once a week to stay comfortable. It’s been a journey trying to find what works best for shaving, but I recently found a great option!
    • Safety Razor – There are plenty of safety razor options out there, but I purchased this one from Amazon and it’s been great so far. Safety razors take some time to get used to and you have to be extra careful when learning, but it’s so worth it! With only one blade, I haven’t experienced the same irritation that a disposable multi-blade razor typically causes. If you use a razor to shave your head, I would definitely recommend looking into a safety razor!

Those are all the current products that I’ve really been enjoying. Let me know your favorite bald girl products!
